For HPE Customers and Partners
While we love the opportunity to talk to our customers, we care more about your safety as well as our employees. Therefore, HPE will not host or participate in any event if we deem it unsafe to do so through April 2020.
Out of an abundance of caution, we have made the decision to cancel or postpone most HPE hosted, co-hosted or sponsored events through April 2020 worldwide, except for a few local events in areas deemed safe to host.
COVID-19 (coronavirus) continues to spread and has been declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization. The safety and well-being of our customers, partners and team members is our top priority. Accordingly, HPE has made the difficult decision to cancel the Discover More event series for the rest of 2020.
At this time, HPE Discover 2020 is taking place as planned in Las Vegas, June 23 – 25, 2020.
At HPE, we have a commitment to strengthening the communities where we live and work, and it is our responsibility to reduce the spread of the Coronavirus. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and follow the counsel of public health authorities, including the WHO, and Centers for Disease Control in the U.S. While we are cancelling the currently planned 2020 Discover More event series, HPE remains optimistic that we will be able to reschedule some Discover More events later in the year. We are also investigating conversion to virtual formats that will deliver the most engaging and informative experiences for all attendees. Please continue to check back at this site and via social and email communications channels in the coming months for updates from HPE.
For HPE Employees
Our Environment, Health & Safety (EHS), Global Security, and Global Real Estate (GRE) teams, are monitoring events, including guidance being provided by public health authorities around the world. Where appropriate, they will enact additional health and safety measures at our offices based on science and the most up-to-date guidance from public health experts.
These may include:
-
Remote work/work from home
-
Altered/staggered office hours
-
Enhanced sanitization
-
Use of masks
-
Exit procedures if you feel unwell
-
Temporary restrictions on visitors or face-to-face meetings
If measures like these are enacted for you/your work site, you will receive a communication from your local Human Resources and Global Real Estate teams. If you are traveling to a customer/partner for work, please be sure to follow all precautionary measures they have implemented at their site. And remember, do not visit a customer or partner’s site if you are feeling unwell, have traveled to an area of concern, or have been in close contact with someone who has been exposed within the last 14 days. If you have concerns about a site you are visiting, contact your manager.
