And here’s something else to consider. This Tech Forum is being promoted to the NonStop community where the expectation is that NonStop users will find this latest offering from Connect useful in helping make decisions about what product to chose to meet their business integration requirements. But as this group is also about analysis and for the most part, such CPU intense processing usually can be found only in processes apart from NonStop. COnsidering our HPE heritage it is hopes that other platforms will join this tech forum in time with the HPC / Apollo servers (and solutions) being a natural in this regard.
If this is something that interests you and you would like to know more about possible future co-processing exchanges between NonStop and Apollo, let us know.
richard buckleParticipantData created on NonStop is the freshest data as it is created at the time of transaction interactions – the real world of business and client engagement. As such it’s value to the rest of the business cannot be underestimated but it needs to be moved. To better obtain business insight, data needs to be moved in real time and be available to other processes within the business.
The value that comes with leveraging existing tools such as are available from those vendors providing data replication likewise cannot be underestimated. If you need to know of what is out there today adding value then drop a question to this forum. It is being watched as of now.
richard buckleParticipantThe topic of move your data is all about ensuring data created on NonStop isn’t silo-ed on NonStop and has the opportunity to be moved to where it can make a contribution to the business.
There are multiple solutions available today and it is the intent of this forum to provide information on all products whether part of the HPE NonStop product portfolio or not and to entertain discussions while creating conversations on the value proposition of all current NonStop vendor product offerings.
richard buckleParticipantHi Kelly – glad to see you are onboard; like the new format and thanks.
